Important Info About Our Raw Honey
Important Info About Our Raw Honey
- No Surprise Mark-Up: The price you see is the price you pay at checkout.
- Pure, Raw Nectar: We never add extra sugar to our honey.
- No Dilution: Our honey is never diluted, though it naturally contains about 17.8% water, as added by the bees. Without this water, honey would be a crystal, not a liquid!
- Unpasteurized and Raw: Our jarred raw honey is never heated above 105°F to preserve live enzymes and yeasts. Honey sticks are slightly heated and may not be considered “raw” by certain state definitions.
- Unfiltered Goodness: Our raw honey retains the pollen you expect, though it may crystallize more than commercial honey.
- Natural Settling: Real raw honey will settle over time, with liquid sucrose above firmer honey crystals. Simply stir to mix!
- Sourced from Family-Owned Farms: All our honey comes from family-owned farms in the USA, supporting sustainable beekeeping.
- Safety Reminder: Never give honey to infants under 1 year of age.
